Ortanique picking

On the second full day in Florida with my parents, we went "ortanique" picking, which is an orange/tangerine hybrid grown at Dooley Groves in Ruskin, Fl.  Willa was SUPER excited to go orange picking and talked about ever since I first mentioned it the week before we left.  When we got there, she was a total natural and mastered the "twist twist" motion to get them off the branches.  She even said it over and over as she picked!  We definitely got more than we could handle, but had oh so much fun!  Couldn't have asked for a better day too.  Thank goodness we made it on the third to last day of the season!
