She's head down!
Hallelujah and huzzah, Cubbie is head down! Today I had my 32 week appointment to check all my and Cubbie's vitals. Everything went very well, my belly is measuring perfectly, I actually lost a couple of pounds (which is ok because of how much I have gained already), her heart beat was strong (155), and she's in the right position! I am so excited about this because I really want to go for a VBAC. Obviously, I am happy with whatever method gets this little girl into my arms, but I prefer not to have to recover from major surgery again. I'd love to be able to eat right away and avoid the catheter, leg cuffs, and general laying in one position for 24 hours after I deliver. I think it'll also be hard not to be able to pick up Willa for a couple of weeks either, especially in the sensitive transition time. So, fingers crossed!
Now, to dig up all the birthing class information I got three years ago...
